Research into small-scale, aerial vehicle design and cooperative intelligent sensing and control algorithms platforms for military and civilian applications has provided the motivation for the development of the Micro-Aerial Vehicles and Sensor Networks (MAVSeN) Laboratory. The MAVSeN laboratory provides unique capabilities for experimenting with swarms of micro-aerial vehicles (MAVs) and sensor networks, using layered and cooperative sensing concepts.
